Coconut - garlic chutney for Idly, Dosa, pongal , Adai and Oothapam



     Coconut - garlic Chutney  For Idly ,Dosa,pongal , Adai  and oothapam:

Ingredients :

·        Grated coconut –  1 ½ cup ( fresh)
·        Garlic cloves - 4
·        Green chilli – 5 to 7
·        Salt as needed

To temper :
·        Oil – 1 spn
·        Mustard seeds – 1 spn
·        Urad dal – ½ spn
·        Curry leaves few


Method :

·        In a mixie, grind coconut, garlic , chilli , salt with little water .
·        Then add enough water and grind it to a coarse paste . Transfer it to serving dish.(add water if u need)
·        Heat oil in a pan ,and add mustard seeds allow it to crackle. Then add urad dal and sauté till it turns golden brown and curry leaves till it turn crispy.
·        Pour it over the chutney .Done !
                                                            

Coconut Garlic  chutney is ready.. serve with idly or dosa or oothapam  or adai or pongal.J
