Capsicum Masala



    Capsicum Masala:
Ingredients :
·        Capsicum – 1 ½ cup (cut into small pieces)
·        Onion – 2 medium finely chopped
·        Red  chilli powder – 2 spn
·        Garam masala – ½ spn (optional)
·        Salt as needed
·        Gram flour  / rice flour – 2 spn
For seasoning :
·        Oil – 2 spn
·        Mustard seeds – ½ spn
·        Urad dal – ½ spn

Preparation :
·        Wash ,remove the seeds and cut the capsicum into small pieces.
         
Method :
·        Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and let them crackle.
·        Then add urad dal and fry it becomes golden brown.
·        Then add onion and sauté well till it turns pink colour.
·        Then add capsicum and sauté well till it half cooked.
·        Then add red chilli powder, garam masala and enough salt.
·        Just sprinkle little  water.
·        Cover and cook it till all the ingredients combined altogether and capsicum fully cooked.
·        If required add little more water.
·        Atlast add the gram flour or rice flour  and mix well.
·        Simmer it for 5 mins and off the flame. Done !
                                        


Capsicum Masala is ready.. serve hot with any rice of  your choice J
