Ragi Kichadi



   Ragi flour kichadi :

Ingredients :
·        Ragi Flour – 1 cup
·        Onion – 1 small finely chopped
·        Green /red chilli – 2 chopped
·        Carrot , beans, potato – 1 cup (cut into small pieces)
·        Peas – ¼ cup (optional)
·        Water – 2 cup
·        Salt as needed
·        Coriander leaves

To Temper :
·        Oil – 2 spn
·        Mustard seeds – 1 spn
·        Urad dal – 1 spn
·        Channa dal – 1 spn
·        Curry leaves

Preparation :
·         Dry roast the ragi flour in a heat pan for few mins until aroma comes.

Method :
·        Heat oil in a pan ,add all the tempering items.
·        Then add the chopped onions and fry until transparent.
·        Next add chilli and curry leaves and sauté for few mins.
·        Then add the veggies  along with salt and cook till little soften.
·        Then add 2 cups of water and allow it to boil. Check the salt.
·        Add the roasted ragi flour and mix well.
·        If required sprinkle little water.
·        Stir continuously until it cooked well.
·        Cover and cook for few mins.
·        Switch off the flame Done!
·        Garnish with coriander leaves.

                                

Healthy Ragi kichadi is reasy..  J serve hot.
