Carrot Raddish Poriyal



   Carrot Raddish Poriyal:

Ingredients :
·        Grated carrot – ½ cup
·        Grated raddish – ½ cup
·        Onion – 1 finely chopped
·        Red / green chilli – 2 chopped
·        Salt as needed
·        Grated coconut – ¼ cup
For seasoning :
·        Oil – 2 spn
·        Mustard seeds – ½ spn
·        Urad dal – ½ spn
Preparation :
·        Wash ,peel and grate the carrot and raddish.
         
Method :
·        Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and let them crackle.
·        Then add urad dal and fry it becomes golden brown.
·        Then add onion ,chilli and sauté well in the oil for 5 mins.
·        Then add grated raddish and sauté for few secs. Then add grated carrot and mix well. Add required salt.
·        Just sprinkle little  water.
·        Cover and cook it till all the ingredients combined altogether.
·        Atlast add the grated coconut and stir well..
·        Simmer it for 5 mins and off the flame. Done !
                                    

Carrot Raddish poriyal is ready.. serve hot with any rice of  your choice J
