Rava payasam / semolina payasam with sugar



Rava  payasam / semolina Payasam  With Sugar :

          It’s a very simple and  delicious payasam.. try and enjoy the taste. J

Ingredients :
·        Rava  / semolina  – ½  cup
·        Milk – 3 cup (boiled)
·        Water – 2 cup
      sugar -  1/2 to 3/4 cup
·        Cashews – 5 quatered
·        Cardamom powder - pinch
·        Raisins – 6
·        Almonds – 3 sliced
·        Pistachios  - 4 quatered (optional)
·        Ghee – 2 spn

Preparation:
·        Heat ghee in a pan, roast the cashews till they turn golden brown and raisins till it puff up and keep it aside.

Method :
·        Heat a spn of ghee in a pan, add rava and roast it for few mins.Allow it to cool for few mins.
·        Then add water and cook the rava for 5- 10 mins.
·        Then add milk and allow it to boil.
·        Atlast add sugar and cardamom powder and cook till the sugar dissolve completely.
·        Decorate with roasted cashews, almonds and raisins. Done
                                  

Rava   payasam is ready.. J serve hot  to your dears and nears  J
