Aloo Gobi Masala


   Aloo Gobi Masala / cauliflower Potato Masala:

Ingredients :
·        Cauliflower  – 1 small
·        Potato – 1 small (boil, peel and mash)
·        Onion – 2 medium chopped
·        Tomato – 2 chopped
·        Green chilli – 2 chopped
·        Red chilli powder – 2 spn
·        Turmeric powder – ¼ spn
·        Salt as needed
·        Coriander leaves for garnish

For seasoning:
·        Oil – 3 spn
·        Cinnamon – 1 piece
·        Curry leaves


Preparation :
·        Cut the cauliflower into small florets and put it in a hot boiling water along with salt and turmeric powder for 2 mins. Drain the water and set aside.
Method :
·        Heat oil in a pan, add the seasoning one by one.
·        Then add the chopped onions and sauté till turn pink.
·        Then chilli and tomatoes and fry till it turn mushy.
·        Then add the cauliflower florets and sauté well.
·        Next add red chilli powder and sauté till raw smell goes off.
·    Just sprinkle little water and add enough salt. Cover it and cook till cauliflower becomes soft.
·        Atlast add the ,mashed potato, toss well. cook it for 5 mins. Done!
                        


Aloo Potato Masala is ready.. Garnish with coriander leaves..serve hot with steamed rice.. J
