Almond Milk Shake


    Almond milk shake:
          Almond milk shake is an excellent nourishing drink. Almonds are highly nutritious and are essential nuts for growing children and also adults.

Ingredients :
·        Almonds /badam – 50 gm
·        Milk – 200 ml
·        Saffron a pinch
·        Sugar as needed

Preparation :
·        Soak almonds in a warm water for 10 mins.when soaked press the almonds between our thumb and index finger.the skin will slip off quite easily.(you may also use almonds with skin ,because the skin contains  many nutrients)

Method :
·        Grind almonds with little quantity of milk to a smooth paste.
·        Boil 200 ml of milk in a heavy bottomed pan .keep stirring it, till the milk becomes little thick.
·        Then mix the ground paste, saffron ,sugar to the milk.
·        Keep the flame low and stir well for 2 mins without getting burnt.
                                                       

                          
                                 



Energy giving almonds milk shake is ready .. Jserve it chilled or warm. Just add  few sliced cahew nuts and badam for extra richness.
