Chicken Sambal



     Chicken  Sambal :

          Roasted chicken pieces in onions and tomato paste.

Ingredients :
·        Chicken – 200 gms (washed and cut into pieces)
·        Onion – 2 big  finely chopped
·        Tomato – 2 finely chopped
·        Tomato paste – ½ cup
·        Chilli powder – 2 ½  spn
·        Salt as needed
·        Coriander leaves for garnish

Preparation :
·        Wash and cut chicken into pieces.

For deep fry :
Marinate the chicken pieces with the following ingredients for 30 mins.
·        Curd – 2 spn
·        Ginger garlic paste – 1 spn
·        Salt
·        Chilli powder – 1 spn
·        Turmeric powder  - ¼ spn
·        Corn flour – 3 – 4 spn
Then heat oil in a pan, deep fry the marinated chicken pieces to golden brown and keep it aside

Method :
·        Heat oil in a pan,add the chopped onions and sauté till turn brown.
·        Then add chopped tomatoes  and sauté till they turn mushy..
·        Then add the tomato paste ,salt chilli powder  along with little water.
·        Cook it  for 10 mins.
·        Then add the fried chicken pieces . Cover it and cook for 15  mins. Done!
·        Garnish with coriander leaves.
                   


Chicken Sambal  is ready.. serve with steamed rice   J
