Creamy Rice Payasam With Coconut Milk in Pressure Cooker :
It’s a very delicious payasam.. try
and enjoy the taste J I have prepared it
in pressure cooker to save time and fuel.
Ingredients :

Raw rice – ½ cup
·
Milk – 2 cup (boiled)
sugar - 1/4 cup
sugar - 1/4 cup
·
Water – 1 cup
·
Salt a pinch
·
Cashews – 5 quatered
·
Cardamom powder - pinch
·
Raisins – 6
·
Ghee – 2 spn
·
Coconut milk – ¼ cup
Preparation :
· Wash and soak rice in water for 30 mins, drain the water and
dry grind the rice in
a blender. Just broken the rice not
powdered coarsely or finely.

Heat ghee in a pan, roast the cashewstill they turn golden brown
and raisins till it puff up and keep it aside.
Method :
·
Heat a spn of ghee in a pressure cooker add water, warm milk
and broken rice.
·
Cook it for 2 whistles.
·
When the pressure subsides, open the lid and add sugar and cardamom powder , mix well and boil it for 2-3
mins.
·
At last add coconut milk and switch off the flame before its starts to
boil.
·
Decorate with roasted cashews and raisins. Done !
Creamy Rice payasam is ready.. J serve hot or cold
to your dears and nears J
