Okra Curd Curry / Ladies finger mor kulambu :
Ingredients:

Lady’s finger / okra – 4 or 5 pieces
·
Onion – ½ cup chopped
·
Turmeric powder – ¼ spn
·
Yogurt – 1 ½ cup
·
Salt as needed
For seasoning:
·
Oil – 2 spn
·
Mustard seeds – ½ spn
·
Urad dal – ½ spn
·
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
·
Curry leaves
To make paste:
·
Fenugreek – ½ spn
·
Channa dal – 1 spn
·
Tur dal - 2 spn ( dry roast these three ingredients and
make a paste along with the following two ingredients )
·
Grated coconut – 3 spn
·
Green chilli – 3
Preparation :
·
Wash and chop the ladies finger into small sized pieces.
Method :
·
Heat oil in a pan, add the seasoning one by one.
·
Then add the chopped onion and sauté till they turn pink.
·
Then add the chopped okra and sauté for 5 mins.
·
Next add ground paste, turmeric powder , salt and
buttermilk (yogurt).
Okra curd curry is
ready.. serve hot with steamed rice .. J
