Vegetable Pakoda Kadi :
To prepare pakoda :
Ingredients:

Gram flour /kadalai
mavu – ½ cup
·
Onion – ¼ cup chopped
·
Grated carrot ,
grated cabbage ,grated potato– ¼ cup
·
Chilli powder – ½ spn
·
Salt as needed
·
Oil for deep fry
·
Little water
In a bowl mix all the ingredients with little water and make
them like a thick pakoda batter. Divide
the batter into equal small balls . Heat oil in a pan and fry them to a golden
brown. keep it aside.
To prepare Kadi :
Ingredients :
·
Yogurt – 2 cup
·
Gram flour / kadalai
mavu – 2 spn
·
Turmeric powder – ¼ spn
·
Salt as needed
·
Chilli and ginger
paste – ¾ spn
·
Curry leaves few
For seasoning:
·
Oil – 2 spn
·
Mustard seeds – ½ spn
·
Cumin seeds – ½ spn
·
Asafetida – 1 pinch
·
Curry leaves - few
Method :
·
Heat oil in a pan,
add the seasoning one by one.
·
Next add yogurt ,gram
flour , chilli ginger paste, turmeric
powder and salt .
·
Cook it for 15 mins. If
required add water.
·
Then add the fried veg pakodas
Cover and cook it for 5 mins. Done!
·
Garnish with curry
leaves.
Vegetable pakoda kadi is
ready.. serve hot with steamed rice .. J
