Green Chilli Chicken Gravy



   Green Chilli Chicken Gravy:

          This is a very yummy  and special gravy. Here I have used onion paste, tomato paste , chilli paste and almonds cashew paste to make this gravy.
Then  half  fried  marinated chicken pieces are mix in  this gravy.
Try this ..really yummy. J

Ingredients :
·        Chicken – 200 gms (washed and cut into pieces)
·        Onion – 2  big chopped
·        Tomato – 2  big chopped
·        Green chilli – 15 chopped
·        Almonds – 8 nos
·        Cashews – 8 nos
·        Red chilli powder – 1 spn
·        Turmeric powder – ¼ spn
·        Chicken masala powder – 1 spn(optional)
·        Salt as needed
·        Coriander leaves for garnish

For marination :
·        Curd – 2 spn
·        Ginger garlic paste – 1 spn
·        Lemon – 1 spn
·        Salt

For marination and half  fry :
·        Wash and cut chicken into pieces.
·        Marinate the chicken pieces with curd, ginger garlic paste , lemon and salt for 30 mins.
·        Then heat oil in a pan , half fry the marinated chicken pieces and keep it aside.

To Make gravy:
·        Sauté  well onions in an oil  for few mins and grind it in a blender.
·        Grind the green chillies to a fine paste .
·        Sauté well the tomatoes in an oil and grind to make a fine paste.
·        Soak almonds and cashews in hot water for 10 mins and grind them well.

Method :
·        Heat oil in a pan, then add the onion paste and sauté well.
·        Then add green chilli paste, tomato paste and sauté for few mins.
·        Next add turmeric powder ,chicken masala powder, red chilli powder and salt, cook for 5 mins.
·        Then add the almond cashew paste and fried chickens.
·        Cover it and cook for 15 to 20 mins. Done!
·        Garnish with coriander leaves.
   

Green Chilli chicken Gravy  is ready.. serve hot with steamed rice   J
