Pepper Pasta


   Pepper Pasta:

Ingredients :
·        Pasta – 2 cups (water – 4 to 5 cups)
·        Onion – 1 finely chopped
·        Tomato –  2 finely chopped
·        Ginger garlic paste – 1 spn
·        Green chilli – 2 chopped
·        Garam masala – ½ spn
·        Red chilli powder – ½ spn
·        Turmeric powder – ¼ spn
·        Pepper powder – 2  spn
·        Salt as needed
·        Tomato sauce – 1 spn(optional)
·        Oil  - 3 spn
·        Coriander leaves for garnishing

Preparation :
·        Wash and chopped the veggies.
·        Boil 4 to 5 cups of water in a pan , add salt and 1 spn of oil , add the pasta and cook for 8 to 10  mins.
·        Each pasta takes different amount of  time to cook. check the package instructions.
·        After the pasta cooks, drain all the water.
·        Add some cold water, rinse and drain the cold water also. keep it aside.

Method :
·        Heat oil in a pan, add onions and green chilli and sauté for few mins.
·        Then add ginger garlic paste and sauté till the raw smell goes off.
·        Next add tomatoes and fry till it turn mushy.
·        Then add all the spicy powders, turmeric powder and salt (if required sprinkle little water) and stir for 3 min till the raw smell goes off.
·        Add the cooked pasta and mix well to coat the masala all over the pasta.
·        Now add the pepper powder and mix it well.
·        Atlast add the coriander leaves and toss well.
                                      

Pepper pasta is ready.. serve hot J
