Poha/Aval Ladoo With Jaggery



   Poha /Aval Ladoo With Jaggery:

          It is a delicious and tasty ladoo. I prefer to use jaggery instead of sugar as it is rich in iron and also healthier option than white sugar.

Ingredients :
·        Aval – 1 cup
·        Powdered jaggery – ½ cup
·        Ghee – 5 spn
·        Cashew nuts – 5 quatered
·        Raisins – 5
·        Cardamom powder – a pinch

Preparation :
·        Dry roast the aval lightly and grind them in a blender.
·        Heat ghee in a pan and roast the cashews till golden brown  and also the raisins until it puff up.
·        Powdered the jaggery in a blender.

Method :
·        In a bowl, mix together the powdered aval , powdered jaggery, roasted cashews ,raisins and cardamom powder.
·        Melt  needed ghee in a pan and add to the mixture little at a time. Grease your hands with ghee if required and make laddos from this mixture.(make sure that the ghee is warm) . Done!
